Keeping Track of People and Data
We're in the process of working out ways to organise the data that we have been collecting over the years to make it more accessible to both ourselves and others. We've been scanning documents and pictures. It's important to put everything into a context and to ensure that we can identify people, place and time. There is an enormous amount of material! To help with that task, we've created two linear geneagraphs, one for each family. We're also developing an app to profile each person in the family and the documents associated with them. Five Generations of Wedding Dresses
We are very fortunate to have photographs of five generations of wedding dresses in the family. We hope to find more through time. However, it would be good to make these known now. There is a story behind each dress. Of course, there are stories behind every person as well. Our hope is that we can expand this theme through time. But, we will begin with these five and work from there. The generations are unfolded from the point of view of our grandchildren's generation.
